New Castle County, DE

New Castle County  experienced a 3.8% decrease in the number of sold homes for the first 3 quarters of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 5.6% increase in the median sales price from $225,000 to $237,500. The number of homes that went under contract in the first three quarters of 2019 decreased 3.0% from 2018.

Kent County, DE

For the first nine months of 2019, Kent County experienced a 4.0% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and an 7.7% increase in the median sales price from $209,000 to $225,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first 9 months of  2019 decreased 4.0% from 2018.

Sussex County, DE

For the first three quarters of 2019, Sussex County experienced a 1.7% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and a 1.4% increase in the median sales price from $281,000 to $285,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first 3 quarters of 2019 increased 5.3% from 2018.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County  experienced a 7.3% decrease in the number of sold homes in the first 3 quarters of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 5.9% increase in the median price of sold homes, from $367,500 to $389,040. The number of homes that went under contract in the first three quarters of 2019 decreased 4.7% from 2018.

Cecil County, MD

For the first 9 months of 2019, Cecil County experienced a 6.4% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and an increase in the median sales price of 4.1%; from $219,900 to $229,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first nine months of 2019 increased 14.7% from 2018.
